Celtic Folk凯尔特民谣：
凯尔特民谣是英格兰民谣和凯尔特音乐的一种混合体。基于传统英格兰音乐和凯尔特音乐的结构，而反映出当今民谣和当代歌手或作曲家的思想和艺术性。

二、Celtic New Age新世纪凯尔特：
由凯尔特主题旋律、器乐和歌曲，加上新世纪的产物和情感而产生了新世纪凯尔特音乐。Clannad 和 Enya 是这一流派的典型代表，可是他们并不是仅拘泥这种音乐的艺术家。这种梦幻式的充满灵气的音乐在80年代末是由Enya的”Watermark“专辑而走向主流的，在90年代逐渐繁盛起来。

三、Traditional Celtic传统的凯尔特音乐：
盛行于90年代，传统的凯尔特音乐并非广义上的凯尔特音乐。其实，它具有最早的民谣歌曲的风格也有纯音乐的风格，就是那种没有受到新世纪音乐和流行音乐影响的那类纯音乐，这是它区别于当代凯尔特音乐的特点。
